Akinbode Oluyinka, a former caretaker chairman of Ibadan North local government between March and December 2016, last Tuesday officially retired as a teacher under the Oyo State Teaching Service Commission, TESCOM.
Though he retired voluntarily, Akinbode was said to have begun his teaching career in February 2000 when he became a classroom teacher at Basorun Ojoo High School, Ashi, Ibadan. He later taught at Ibadan Grammar School, Molete, Estate High School, Akobo before calling it quit at Community High School, Arulogun last year.
Between 2014 and 2015, he was a liaison officer to Abiola Ajimobi, late former governor of Oyo State.
