According to him, “It gladdens my heart to greet Muslims on the occasion of this year’s Eid celebration, especially as it comes at a point everybody is looking forward to the end of the deadly coronavirus pandemic.

“There is no better time than now for us, especially Muslims, to pray God to deliver us from the pandemic. It has affected us economically, religiously, educationally and in many other ways. Some families are unable to feed themselves. We should use this occasion to offer assistance to our needy neighbours. It is very important as that is one of the teachings of the period,” he said wishing them happy celebration.
