#EndSARS: Protesters Shutdown Ibadan, Lament Police Brutality

Youths clamouring for a total scrap of the notorious and disbanded unit of the Nigeria Police Force, Special Anti-Robbery Squad (SARS) have lockdown Ibadan.

OYOINSIGHT.COM reporter monitoring the protest gathered that the protesters arrived strategic parts of the city as early as 8 a.m.

Armed with placards carrying various inscriptions, the youths lamented and called for a total end to police brutality in the country.

As at the time of writing this report, the Iwo road axis of the Lagos-Ibadan expressway, the Secretariat roundabout among other strategic places in the city had been blocked by the protesters.

Various political office holders in the state have also joined the protest. Some of these officers holders include: Youth and Sports Commissioner, Seun Fakorede, Deputy Chief of Staff, Hon. Mogbonjubola Jagaban, S.A on student affairs to the Governor, Victor Olojede among others.
