Hon Wasiu Emiola, who is aspiring to represent Ibadan North federal constituency in the yet-to-be-fixed bye-election, has expressed profound sadness and sense of loss at the sudden and unexpected demise of Barrister Isaac Ajiboye Omodewu, the Oyo State Chairman, All Progressive Congress.
He described Barr Omodewu’s death as shocking and devastating.
“The death of Barr Omodewu is as shocking as it is devastating. It is a great loss, not only to his immediate family but to the entire APC in Oyo State and Nigeria.”
“Hon Omodewu was a committed party man and a tireless public servant who brings his virtues of unshakable commitment and dogged determination to every role he is opportune to play. History will never forget his contributions as a commissioner in government and as a chairman in political party administration. He will be sorely missed as we pray that Allah will accept his return and grant him the rewards of the faithful.”
