The Oyo State Command of the Nigeria Police Force has declared the leader of One Million Boys, Ebila Biola, wanted in connection to the murder of one of Ibadan’s most wanted thug, Moshood Oladokun, popularly known as Ekugbemi.
OYOINSIGHT.COM had earlier reported how Ekugbemi was matcheted to death on Saturday afternoon at Olomi Olunde area during a fracas with members of a rival cult.
The Police Public Relations Officer of the state command, Mr. Olugbenga Fadeyi, who disclosed this during a live call-in interview on Fresh FM on Sunday evening, also revealed that Ebila, the leader of the rival gang involved in the fracas, is currently at large.
He, however, noted that the police are currently on his trail because investigation has commenced on the issue and he will be brought to book.
The PPRO also disclosed that the Police are already working with other law enforcement agencies in the state to ensure there is no reprisal attack that can disrupt the peaceful atmosphere of the state from any of the groups.
He also revealed that two arrests have been made by the police force as regards the fracas.
According to him, “One Babatunde Oladapo who had something to tell the police, to narrate to the police, to help them in the investigation and one other person who was trying to cause civil disturbance at the born photo/ Idi-Arere axis was also arrested.”
He stressed further that the Commissioner of police has given the Deputy Commissioner of Police, Criminal Investigation Department, CID, in Iyaganku a marching order to take over the case and commence an investigation to unravel the immediate and remote cause of the fight what actually transpired.
