At the distribution exercise which took place at the Oyo home of the founders, Engr Idris and Alhaja Halimah Adeoye, beneficiaries showered praises on the initiators.
The food items, which included 300 bags of rice and same amount of semovita, were distributed among close to 5,000 people in the ancient town.
It would be recalled that the couple had, in the heat of the coronavirus and beginning of the about to be ended Ramadan, supported residents with food items and financial support.
Hajia Adeoye, who represented the husband at the event, said the distribution was motivated by the need to cushion the effect of the economic downturn occasioned by Covid-19.
