The chairman of the Nigerian Communications Commission, Adeolu Akande, has felicitated with muslims on the occasion of this year’s Eid-el-fitr.
Akande, an Otu-born politician, in a statement on Wednesday evening, charged muslims in Oyo State and across the federation to allow the lessons learnt during the period of Ramadan guide their day-to-day activities.
“For the last 30 days, we have maintained a closer bound to Almighty Allah, as we celebrate Eid, it is important for us to note that the lessons we learnt during this period must continue to guide our affairs.
“We should also use this period to pray for peace and prosperity in the country,” Akande noted.
He also called on residents of the state to remain peaceful and law abiding.
