The lawmaker representing Ogbomoso North/Ogbomoso South/Oriire federal constituency in the House of Representatives, Hon. Olamiju Alao-Akala, has enjoined Muslims to live by the lessons of Ramadan as they celebrate Eid today.
According to the All Progressives Congress, APC, chieftain, “the holy month which almost coincided with the Lent period taught us many lessons. Tolerance, unity, love and peace are part of them. Like Lent, Ramadan is gone and we shouldn’t forget what we learnt there.
“We should continue to pray for Nigeria. We should pray for our state, federal constituency and household. We need it. We need to tolerate one another. There is a lot we can achieve when we live in unity, peace and love.
“As we celebrate Eid, let’s remember the needy and less-privileged. And let’s continue to pray for a better Nigeria. I celebrate you all. May we celebrate more on earth,” Alao-Akala added.
