The 2023 Nigeria Polo Association, NPA, Ibadan International Polo Tournament is set to gallop off in grand style as the event I scheduled to hold at the prestigious Ibadan Polo Club in Eleyele, Ibadan from May 15th to May 21st, 2023.
According to the club president, Konyinsola Owoeye, at the tournament press conference disclosed the competition will consist of 3 major cups to be contested, which include; Ade Alakija Cup, Brigadier General Rotimi Cup, and Ibadan Cup
He added that, with the number of expected teams and the caliber of players who would showcase their awesome skills, the 2023 edition of the tournament promises an intense competition and a wonderful experience of entertainment for sponsors, players, guests, and fans alike.
The Entertainment Secretary, Olufela Yomi-Layinka, added that the annual polo event will have participants from some states in the country.
During his remark, the Vice President & Tournament Chairman, Bola Adeyemi, noted that this tournament will be totally different from all the past editions.
The competition starts at 1 pm daily and the Cost of the ticket is #2,000 per daily available for sale at the clubhouse, to experience the thrill of the sport firsthand.
