Dominic Akinjide Fagbemi Foundation Rolls Out Scholarship Offers For Graduates Of Ibarapa Origin

The Dominic Akinjide Fagbemi Foundation (DAF), a charitable organisation with a track record of humanitarian gestures in Nigeria, has rolled out scholarship offers for potential MSc or conversion programme candidates in Ibarapa region of Oyo State.

According to the chairman of the foundation, Mr. Dominic Akinjide Fagbemi, the initiative is put together to enable graduates in the seven principal towns to further their master’s or run their HND to BSC conversion programme in any federal government institution.

In a statement made available to newsmen by the foundation on Tuesday, July 30, 2024, the organisation, in the last seven years, has invested heavily in so many areas of interest, such as education, which cuts across literary and debate competitions; the monthly essay competition, which has largely attracted attention from diverse ethnic groups in Nigeria; and the female football competition, which is the first of its kind in Ibarapa Land.

“By discovering talents and enhancing the standard of education in Ibarapa Land, the foundation believes that a better society can be actualized.

“Having spent roughly over N100 million in the last seven years rejijing the standards of education, sporting activities, and social welfare in Ibarapa Land, by sponsoring and partnering different reputable organisations, Dominic Akinjide Fagbemi, an award-winning real estate developer based in Abuja, is committed to launching yet another unprecedented initiative that will enable graduates in the seven principal towns to further their master’s or run their HND to BSC conversion programme in any federal government institution,” the statement read in parts.

The organisers enjoined graduates in the geopolitical zone to seize the opportunity to further their education, promising his continued support for the development of Ibarapa Land.

Application for the programme begins July 30, 2024, and closes on August 6, 2024.

The best 10 applicants, according to the foundation, will be published and invited for a physical presentation subsequently on August 8, 2024.

Overall best participant will receive a study allowance of N350,000; the first runner-up gets N250,000; the second runner-up will receive N200,000; and the third runner-up will get the same prize.
