Veteran Fuji musician, Wasiu Ayinde Marshal, has reacted to the allegations flying around that he was involved in an extramarital affair with Queen Badirat, the youngest wife of Iku Baba Yeye, the Alaafin of Oyo, Oba Lamidi Olayiwola Adeyemi.
The Fuji icon, who was recently installed as the Mayegun of yorubaland by the Alaafin, described the claim as the wishful thought of his critics who are not in support of his new position as the Mayegun of yorubaland.
KWAM 1, as he is fondly called, disclosed this in a short video on his social media handles shortly after the news that the highly revered traditional ruler in yorubaland had chased Queen Badirat out of the palace over allegations of extramarital affairs on Thursday.
He stressed further that efforts by his detractors to dent his image since the beginning of his music career had always failed.
He then urged his fans not to react to the allegations and assured them that it would in no way affect his status or music career than has thrived for decades.
