The Senate has retracted its tweet that informed its followers that Senator Soji Akanbi was among those who defected from the All Progressives Congress to the Peoples Democratic Party on Tuesday.
On their Twitter handle, the Senate while quoting an earlier tweet naming him as one of the defecting senators, said, “Senator Soji Akanbi has in a press release issued from his office debunked rumours of his defection to the PDP”.
Akanbi represents Oyo South Senatorial district.
