An aspirant for the Oyo State House of Assembly seat for Ibarapa east state constituency under the platform of the ADC during the 2019 general election, Hon. Samuel Adesokan Adelodun has distributed palliatives to students in his constituency.
The palliatives, according to him, was distributed to over one hundred tertiary institution students in his constituency.
Speaking with newsmen, Adesokan explained that his interest for the development of youths was necessitated following his discovery that youths are the game changer in the society.
He stressed that his plan is to create a network of versatile youths in a bid to ensure they work in harmony to achieve good governance in the society.
He also stated that his decision to distribute palliatives to students in the form of recharge cards is because he understands the need for them to stay connected to the global village to generate ideas for the development of the society.
He then urged people to abide by the directives of the government and disease control agencies to curtail the spread of COVID-19.
