COVID-19: Oyo Records 30 New Cases In Three Days, Discharges 21

Oyo State has recorded thirty new cases of COVID-19 in three days.

This was revealed by Governor Seyi Makinde in his COVID-19 update to the people of the state on Saturday night.

A break down of the thirty new cases showed that the state recorded 10 on the 28th of May, 15 on the 29th of May and 5 on the 30th of May.

“Also, the COVID-19 confirmation tests for the following number of cases came back POSITIVE:
May 28 – 10 cases, all from iSON Xperiences
May 29 – 15 cases, 10 from iSON Xperiences
May 30 – 5 cases, 2 from iSON Xperiences

“So, the total number of confirmed cases in Oyo State is 282,” the Governor wrote.

He added, “Twenty-one confirmed COVID-19 patients have received their second NEGATIVE test results and have been discharged in the past three days. This brings the number of discharged cases in Oyo State to ninety-six.”
