COVID-19: NGO Donates Sanitizers, Surgical Masks To Oyo Govt

An Ibadan-based non governmental organization, Baby Blue Angel Foundation on Friday donated 500 alcohol-based sanitizers and 1500 surgical masks to Oyo State government, to help fight against the ravaging coronavirus pandemic.

The Foundation, owned by Mrs. Ramata Agberemi Dabo,
handed over the 500 alcohol-based Sanitizers and 1500 surgical masks
to Dr. M.A Ayoola permanent secretary, Oyo state Ministry of Health at the ministry building, secretariat, Ibadan.

Baby Blue Angel Foundation who has at various times reaches out to schools, hospitals and less privileged within and outside Ibadan metropolis commended governor Seyi Makinde for making primary health care system functional and affordable to everyone in the state.

Speaking at the handing over, Mrs. Motunrayo Omolara Ajadi one of the directors of Baby Blue Angel Foundation in Oyo state said their foundation has been contributing it best to support Oyo state government to reduce the spread of the virus.

In her speech, she said Baby Blue Angel Foundation has donated
tap fitted buckets and sanitizers to Oyo State government through the Ministry of Education, distributed in batches hand gloves and sanitizers to primary health centers within Ibadan, made the distribution of palliatives to widows, adults and less privileged people in the outskirt of Ibadan. Mrs Ajadi stated many more of the foundation achievements in Oyo state.

He assured that the Oyo State government will make judicious use of the items.

He also expressed his hope that soon the war against COVID-19 shall be over.
