The Executive Governor of Oyo State, Engr. Seyi Makinde has announced that 100 tailors from Oyo State will produce one million face masks.
OYOINSIGHT.COM had earlier reported how Governor Makinde and governors of the other five southwest states agreed, after a virtual meeting, that the use of face masks is compulsory in the region to prevent the spread of COVID-19.
Makinde, who handed down the order on Friday evening, disclosed that the 100 tailors who will be engaged in the production of the face masks will be trained by experts.
He also disclosed that each tailor will produce 10,000 face make each.
