According to Open Salawu, who was one of the APC’s house of representatives’ aspirants for Ogbomoso North/Ogbomoso South/Oriire federal constituency in the 2019 election, “This is a very difficult time for any leader all over the world and as a matter of fact it’s not a time to envy a Governor but it’s also a time to sieve leaders from pretenders because best qualities of leadership is to be decisive, proactive and definitive in situation like this.

“Unfortunately the process of selecting leaders in our system has always present us with people with little or lack capacity to act accordingly in a crisis situation like this. In any case COVID-19 is highly mysterious and is shaking the world making the sophisticated countries looking confused and helpless. Third world countries could be more hit due to poor infrastructure and education/information but as a believer and faithful people, we pray God Almighty should intervene and safe us from this calamity. The scientist are working tirelessly to find a cure to this virus and we hope it will be soon.

“Pending when solution will be known we should take to instructions of our governments at various levels to curb the virus, preventing and precautions measures could safe a life please let us be responsible. Ensure to wash your hands with soap under running tap when you suspected you have touched contaminated objects or use hand sanitizer and stay at home to prevent the spread,” he added.
