The PRO made this announcement on Ibadan based Radio Station, Fresh FM earlier today while responding to questions about the steps the institution is taking to prevent the spread of Coronavirus, a pandemic that has killed thousands globally.

He then advised students not to see it as an opportunity to attend parties or sporting events. Adding that the main reason the school is closed is to reduce physical contact as much as possible and ensure social distance which is a reliable way to prevent the spread of the virus.

Earlier in the day, the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control announced an increase in the number of confirmed cases in the country from twelve to twenty-two.
