CORONAVIRUS: Fatai Buhari Gives Relief Materials To Okeogun, Ogbomoso People (PHOTOS)

Senator AbdulFatai Buhari, representing Oyo North Senatorial District, has doled out relief materials as succour to the people.

The thirteen (13) local government are which he represents will all benefit from the relief materials which included rice and semovita, running intoseveral millions of naira.

The representatives of Christian Association Of Nigeria and Muslim Society Of Nigeria in Ogbomoso and Oke -Ogun zones, market women and men as well as political leaders in the thirteen (13) local governments will be handed the relief materials, for onward delivery to the beneficiaries.

Honourable Adedeji Adeyemo, the pioneer chairman of Ogbomoso South Local Council Development Area, who doubles as Special Adviser to the senator made this known.

According to him, “We are in a very challenging period and I implore us to heed to the medically approved preventive measures such as social distancing, avoiding crowded areas, washing hands frequently, dabbing while coughing and sneezing, as well as use of sanitizers, among others”.

“If you feel unusual health issues visit the nearest medical centres and isolate yourself if you have mixed up with any CoronaVirus positive person. Having the Virus is not a death sentence so let us do the needful to curb the spread. You can see the sequence of distribution of the relief materials that it is not politically motivated as it will go round irrespective of political affiliation and religious belief I pray Allah will put a stop to this global pandemic”. Obadoba, as he is fondly called, said.

Buhari has since the inception of his second term in office, been putting smiles on the faces of his people.

Only recently the former house of representatives’ member who chairs the Senate committee on land transportation commisisoned ICT centres with well furnished modern facilities, provided boreholes, facilitated workshops and seminars as well as provision of jobs to the good people of his senatorial district.
