‘Seyi Makinde, governor of Oyo State, has alleged those protesting over the planned demolition of their houses along the Ibadan circular road, as being sponsored by the opposition.
He said the protest could have entered third day if they were not getting fund from somewhere.
Makinde made this known at the ongoing of the Ibadan central bus terminal ongoing.
The governor insisted that he would not address the protesters on the road but that “I will come and see the real owners of the land at the circular road.”
OYOINSIGHT.COM recalls that owners of land on the corridors of Ibadan circular road have been protesting over the 500 metres to be taken on each side of the Ibadan circular road.
