CCII Unveils Lam-Adesina, Arisekola, Other Past Heroes’ Portraits

The Central Council of Ibadan Indigenes, CCII, on Sunday unveiled the portraits of late former governor Lamidi Adesina, Aare AbdulAzeez Arisekola Alao, Chief Adisa Akinloye, Chief Adebisi Idikan as a form of honour to their memories.

Disciples of the late progressive politician, including his deputy, Chief Iyiola Oladokun, Alhaji Fatai Ibikunle, Hon. Mojeed Olaoya, former speaker Asimiyu Alarape, his spokesperson, Alhaji Kehinde Olaosebikan; former commissioners, former lawmakers as well as son of the deceased, Hon. Adedapo Lam-Adesina were all in  attendance.

Lam-Adesina, a governor of Oyo State between 1999 and 2003, died November 11, 2012.

Arisekola-Alao, also an Ibadanman like Lam-Adesina, died June 18, 2014, barely two years after the former governor bid the world farewell.
