Three chieftains of the All Progressives Congress, APC, in Oyo State have solicited support for victims of last night’s explosion in Bodija area of Ibadan, the Oyo State capital.
Senators Fatai Buhari, Teslim Folarin as well as communications marketing guru, Abisoye Fagade, in their separate statements, sympathized with the people calling on government and people to offer support.

A call has gone to Federal government through the National Emergency Management Authority to provide prompt supports to victims of Ibadan explosion.
This call was made by the Senator who is representing Oyo North Senatorial District, Dr. Buhari Abdulfatai in a press release issued to sympathise with the victims earlier today.
While describing the incident as very unfortunate, the lawmaker commended efforts of various agencies who immediately wade-in to the occurrence and safe the lives of many victims.
While he prayed for the soul of those who lost their lives in the sad occurrence to rest in peace, Senator Buhari prayed for those who secured various degrees of injuries to have quick recovery and return back to their various families on time.
The Legislator charged the Federal government to as a matter of urgency provide necessary assistance to the victims who have lost virtually all they have acquired to the explosion.
He challenged the security agencies to get to the root of the ugly incident, brought the perpetrators to book and guard against reoccurrence of such in Ibadan and every other part of Oyo State.
Folarin Sympathises With Victims of Ibadan Deadly Explosion, Urges for Calm
Former senate leader and governorship candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in 2023 elections, Senator Teslim Folarin has expressed grief over deadly explosion that occurred in Ibadan, Oyo State capital on Tuesday night.
Folarin in a statement released by his media aide condoled with all those who lost their loved ones and also sympathised with victims of the terrible incident.

“My attention has been drawn to a deadly explosion that rocked some areas of Ibadan on Tuesday night”.
“I reliably gathered that lives were lost, several injured and property worth billions of Naira were lost as a result of the explosion”
“My thoughts and prayers are with the bereaved families, and other victims of the deadly explosion. I also sympathise with the people and Oyo State Government over the tragic incident.
“I urge for calm among the residents of the affected areas while we await outcome of the constitued authorities’ full investigations into the remote and immediate cause of the explosion”
“I pray to Almighty God to comfort all those who were affected, directly and indirectly”
