Oyo State has recorded ten new COVID-19 cases.
This was revealed by Governor Seyi Makinde in a statement on his Facebook page.
“The COVID-19 confirmation tests for ten suspected cases came back POSITIVE. Eight cases are from iSON Xperiences and the other two cases are from Ibadan North Local Government Area. So, the total number of confirmed cases in Oyo State is 292,” the governor wrote.
Speaking during a live interaction on the State-owned Broadcasting station, Broadcasting Corporation of Oyo State (BCOS) on his first year anniversary, Makinde said the state would do all within its powers to contain spread of the virus.
