Wasiu Emiola, secretary of the African Democratic Congress, ADC, in Oyo State has resigned his appointment and membership of the party.
Emiola, who hails from Ibadan North local government, will be rejoining the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, where he was before ADC was adopted by some aggrieved members of the PDP, All Progressives Congress, APC; Labour Party, LP and other smaller parties.
Speaking in a chat with OYOINSIGHT.COM, Emiola said his resignation and defection the ruling PDP, was ‘due to circumstances beyond my control.”
Only recently, a two-term former member of the Oyo State House of Assembly, Olusegun Olaleye, defected from ADC to PDP.
