BREAKING: Leading Opposition Parties Adopt Makinde
The leading opposition parties in Oyo State have adopted Engr. Seyi Makinde, of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, as their governorship candidate for next week’s election.
The parties are PDP, Social Democratic Party, SDP and Alliance for Democracy, AD.
Bolaji Ayorinde, governorship candidate of SDP, who addressed journalists after a close to 1-hour meeting at the Ondo Street, Bodija residence of former governor Rashidi Ladoja, however, said other opposition parties would join before today ends.
