Prince Oloyede- Asanike Abioye Jr, has donated loads of food items to Bodija Explosion Emergency Situation Hubs, Oyo State Housing Corporation to give relief to the victims of an explosion that occurred on the 16th of January 2024 at Dejo Oyelese Street, Bodija, Ibadan, Oyo state capital.
Abioye who doubled as the team lead of Amdalat Oloyede Foundation made the donation after visiting the scene of the incident on Sunday, 21st 2024.
Items donated included packs of Spaghetti, noodles milk, milo, and other relief items.
According to him, “The relief items are to help alleviate the devastating effect of the tragedy on the community,”Abioye said.
He expressed his condolences to the families of the victims, people, and government of Oyo State over the explosion, praying such wouldn’t be witnessed again.
Many people in the community who spoke at the occasion commended Abioye for the gesture.
