An aspirant for the vacant Ibadan North seat in the house of representatives, Idris Babatunde Lapade, has congratulated the acting chairman of the All Progressives Congress, APC, in Oyo State, Alhaji Olayide Abas and minister of power, Oloye Adebayo Adelabu as they celebrate their birthdays.
While Abas celebrated 75 on Friday, Adelabu clocked 54 on Saturday.
Lapido, as the former chairman of Ibadan North local government chairman is popularly known, made this known in a statement personally signed.
Describing the duo as core progressives, Lapido’s statement reads: “Happy birthday to our leader and acting chairman of APC Oyo State Alhaji Olayide Abass. This is wishing you more life, in perfect health and prosperity, you will celebrate this day for many more years to come.
“I pray that Almighty Allah blesses you with the wisdom and guidance to reconcile differences, unite our party and lead our party to victory just as he granted wisdom to Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) to unite the Ummah.”
