The lawmaker representing Oyo East/ Oyo West/Atiba/Afijio federal constituency, Adeniyi Adeyemi says the viral letter through which the leadership of Oyo East local government area is begging for money, paints and tiles to renovate its secretariat did not leak through his office.

Recall that OYOINSIGHT.COM had reported how the local government leadership is begging for funds to renovate its secretariat despite the monthly allocation its expected to receive from the FAAC through the state government.

In a statement made available to this newspaper on Monday afternoon, Skimeh noted that the leakage of the letter must be traced elsewhere.

“My attention has been drawn to a letter purportedly written to my office by the Chairman of Oyo East Local Government for lending hands to renovate the Oyo East Local Government Secretariat, Kosobo,Oyo.

“I wish to say it emphatically “that my constituency office maintains extreme confidentiality and secrecy identified with corporate and public establishments. This has been our mantra over the years”.

“If there is any leakage of information, It shouldn’t be traced to my office at all as I don’t involve in politics of bitterness. I am deeply committed to the rapid developments of Oyo Federal Constituency and ready to join hands with whoever aligns with my vision.

“Please count me out of any sabotage as I keep distance from any dirty political games and tactics as may be employed by desperate politicians,” the statement read.
