As the remains of late environment commissioner, Hon. Kehinde Ayoola, would be laid to rest this morning, Alhaji Fatai Ibikunle has paid tribute to him.
Ayoola, 55, who hails from Apaara, in Oyo East local government died on May 14th, 2020, exactly two weeks ago during a brief illness.
Ibikunle, who is the chairman of the National Lottery Regulatory Commission, and the deceased were in the same Alliance for Democracy till 2003 when the Ayoola, who was speaker of the Oyo State House of Assembly, left for the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP.
According to Ibikunle, who was personal assistant to late former governor Lamidi Adesina, “I knew Hon. Kehinde Ayoola in the build up to the 1999 election. He was articulate. Baba Lam would later nominate him as speaker.”
