The reconciliation committee of the All Progressives Congress, APC, in Oyo State, has called for memoranda from members of the public.
They are to be submitted to former governor Adebayo Alao-Akala’s Destiny House, 2 Adegoke Street, Oremeji, Mokola,
Alao-Akala, OYOINSIGHT.COM understands, is the chairman of the committee.
The call for memoranda by the reconciliation committee of the party was announced in a statement signed by the secretary of the committee, Prince Gbade Lana.
According to the statement, foremost among the terms of reference of the committee is to meet and reconcile the difference between the party and all its gubernatorial, National Assembly, State House of Assembly, and Local Government candidates and aspirants during the last general elections.
The committee would also “identify contentious issues within the party and come up with suggestions/ recommendations accordingly.”
“Propose mechanisms for resolving internal crisis/misunderstanding before it snowballs into unimaginable dimension.”
The committee is also expected to develop a “strategy to populate and reposition the party”.
Gbade Lana, the Secretary of the committee added,”All memoranda should be addressed to The Chairman, Oyo State Reconciliation, Destiny House, 2 Adegoke Street, Oremeji, Mokola, Ibadan, not later than two weeks from the date of this publication,”
