A chieftain of the All Progressives Congress in Oyo State, Idris Lapade has congratulated Florence Ajimobi on her ambassadorial nomination by President Bola Tinubu.
In a statement made available to newsmen in Ibadan on Monday, the party chieftain described the nomination as a fitting one.
Lapade, a former chairman of the Ibadan North local government, noted that the nomination of the former First Lady of Oyo State is a testament to the President’s capacity to spot talent.
“The nomination of one of our leaders in the state, Madam Florence Ajimobi by President Bola Tinubu is a welcome development that will productive immense returns, not only for the President’s agenda, but for all Nigerians.
“As someone who has had the opportunity to follow her leadership these past few years, there’s no doubt that she is in the best position to represent our country’s interests abroad,” he wrote in the statement.
