One of the scions of the famous and illustrious philanthropic colossus in Oyo State and Youbaland; Alhaji Abdulazeez Arisekola Alao; the late Aare musulumi of Yorubaland, Mr Semiu Oladimeji Alao has reiterated his commitment to the cause of the progressive camp in government and the governance of Oyo State.
Like his great Uncle and benefactor, who supported the emergence and success of the Late Governor Ajimobi’s progressive administration in Oyo State, he has also pledged his support to ensure that the APC recaptures power as the ruling party in Oyo State come 2023.
While being received by the Party Chairman of the Ibadan North east chapter of the All Progressive Congress (APC); Chief Razaq Ekundayo and his executive members. The leadership of the party in the Local Government expressed joy and satisfaction for having in their midst, a worthy and illustrious son of the soil, while affirming their full support to whatever cause that will promote the unity and strengthen the fortunes of the party; which the personalty of Mr SEMIH ALAO can attract to the local govt chapter of their great party, as partners in progress.
The party stalwarts present also praised the past efforts of Mr Alao, towards visible developmental strides which he has contributed to various parts of the Local Government area in the past.
While reacting to the robust discussion with party stalwarts present in the meeting, Mr SEMIH ALAO promised to be an integral part in the rebuilding process of the APC in Oyo State, and to ensure that the party regains her status as the ruling party in power back coming 2023.
He further pledged a renewed commitment to his philanthropic activities in the local govt area as he starts by supporting the registration and revalidation exercise of the party in his local government with a huge sum of money while also affirming his passionate belief in the socioeconomic upliftment and transformation of the masses within the Federal constituency he belong, and beyond as well.
