It was such a moment of fun and joy as all the aspirants that contested the primaries for Oyo State House of Assembly in Ibadan North Constituency 1 came together to unite as one, letting go individual interests and making the success of the party and her candidates their priority ahead of the 2023 elections.
The candidate, Olufunke Comforter Adeniji-Olajide was congratulated and other contestants who were present include Hon Olusoji Alade (SOJ), Hon Bayo Adekunle (30/30), Hon Oluwafemi Akanmu (Marquis), Hon Samuel Toba Olumide (Mogaji), Hon Oladejo Oluwafemi (Bantu) and those who were unavoidably absent: Hon Olanrewaju Omotego (Larry). They declared their confidence in the ability of Hon Comforter to represent them well and move the good works forward from where Hon Fola Oyekunle (Don) will stop it.
This is indeed a great feat, as Ibadan North is known to be a leading local government that delivers when it comes to election and this togetherness will help greatly.
The aspirants took turns to give kudos to the leaders who facilitated the reconciliation, especially Hon Adeniyi Bibire. In his remarks, Bibiire stressed that none of the contestants have lost, if only they decide to unite as one. He emphasized that a win for one at the general election is a win for all and that bringing back His Excellency Engineer Seyi Makinde is a big win for everyone in the party and the State at large.
No doubt, this movement is an enhancement awaiting an announcement of victory for the party come 2023.
