Niyi Akintola, SAN, has withdrawn from the All Progressives Congress(APC) governorship primary in Oyo State.
Akintola is one of the six aspirants vying for the ticket of the party.
A credible source told Newspeakonline that Akintola opted out of the race after discovering that the process has been skewed in favour of a particular aspirant.
Four out of the remaining five aspirants are at the stadium. They are Chief Adebayo Adelabu, Sen. Teslim Folarin, Barr. Akeem Agbaje and Dr Azeez Adeduntan.
Engr. Hakeem Alao Is yet to arrive as at press time.
As of the time of filing this report, the governorship primary, scheduled to hold at Obafemi Awolowo (Liberty) Stadium is yet to commence.
