Ibadan-born online betting- NairaBET founder, Oloye Akin Alabi will resign as the CEO of the company anytime from now.
Alabi, who contested the 2015 Egbeda-Ona Ara seat of the House of Representatives’ election under the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, unsuccessfully, will recontest the 2019 election under the ruling All Progressives Congress, APC.
The resignation, according to him, is to allow him concentrate on his consultation, meeting and strategies.
Speaking via his twitter handle @akinalabi, a copy of which was extracted by www.oyoinsight.com, the 41-year old entrepreneur cum politician wrote: “In few weeks, I will be resigning as CEO of NairaBET so I can fully concentrate on my campaign to contest for seat in the House of Representatives. If I lose, my seat will be waiting for me at the head office. Politics is not do or die affair.”
