A leader of the All Progressive Congress in Oyo State, Engr. Idris Adeoye has described the death of former governor Adebayo Alao-Akala as a colossal loss to the people of the state.
Recall that OYOINSIGHT.COM reported that Alao-Akala, a leader of the APC in Oyo State, died in the early hours of Wednesday.
In a statement made available to this newspaper on Wednesday evening, Adeoye described Akala as a man whose impacts would always remain indelible.
“The death of Akala is a big loss not only to our great party, the All Progressive Congress but to the people of the state and Nigeria at large,” he began.
He noted that Akala was a man whose contributions to the state of infrastructure in the state remains impactful.
“I pray the Almighty grant his family the fortitude to bear the weight of his exit,” he added.
