Governor Abiola Ajimobi yesterday sold the candidacy of the All Progressives Congress, APC, governorship candidate, Oloye Adebayo Adelabu to the state chapter of the Christian Association of Nigeria, CAN.
Speaking at the meeting, Ajimobi noted that Adelabu had a Christian cum Muslim background, assuring that the ex-deputy governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria, CBN, would maintain religious harmony.
This is as he said it was a must for the next governor to be accomplished as Adelabu and pledge to continue on the track of socioeconomic development that had been laid.
In his remarks, Chairman, CAN, Oyo State, Pastor Benjamin Akanmu assured of prayers for Adelabu.
He said the CAN would extend the support that it had given the Ajimobi administration to Adelabu towards ensuring continued development of the state.
