A House of Representatives aspirant for Ibadan Southwest/ Northwest federal constituency on the platform of the All Progressives Congress, APC, Otunba Rotimi Ajanaku has said that he won the party’s ticket.
OYO INSIGHT had reported how Hon. Saheed Akinade-Fijabi won the ticket with 21 votes. Forty-one year old Fijabi is completing his second term in the House of Representatives, Abuja.
The hotelier cum politician, who made the revelation yesterday while featuring on ‘Ojukoju’, a radio news and current affairs programme hosted by Bayo Faleke on Fresh 105 .9 FM, said that “If anyone is to lay claim to that ticket, it is me. I am the winner of that ticket.”
When asked about 21 votes margin in favour of Fijabi, he alleged that the controversial 21 votes were brought out of Fijabi’s agent pocket while I was leading with two votes. The visual evidence is there and that is being contested in my petition to the National Working Committee of APC. Nobody has been declared officially till now.”
