Adigun Ibadan, a former special assistant on digital media to theExecutive Governor of Oyo State, Engr. Seyi Makinde has thanked everyone who contributed to his downfall.
Adigun Ibadan who is an alumnus of the University of Ibadan said this in a statement on his official twitter account moments after the Secretary to the State Government, Mrs. Olubamiwo Adeosun announced the termination of his appointment as an aide to the Governor.
In the tweet, he wrote, “You called for it and you’ve gotten it… Thanks to everybody that contributed to my downfall.“
Even though the reason for the dismissal of the staunch supporter of the governor was not stated, Adigun Ibadan has come under public scrutiny since his appointment for various reasons including poorly written official statements.
However, He came under very strong criticism and verbal attackfrom indigenes of the State for spreading fake informationyesterday.
In a post on his official Facebook account, the (now former) special assistant to the governor wrote, “Oyo state Government in herreadiness to combat the escalation of COVID’19 virus purchasesdisinfecting machines to be used across the State”.
He then added a picture of machines to be used for the disinfection process.
However, it was later discovered that the picture were that of the disinfectants acquired by the Government ofLagos State.
