Adewole Takes Buhari/Osinbajo Campaign To Oyo, Pledges Better Governance

As activities marking the forthcoming presidential election heat up ,the incumbent Minister of Health and former Vice Chancellor of the Premier University, University of Ibadan, Professor Isaac Adewole, on Monday took the re-election campaign of President Muhammadu Buhari to Oyo town.

The rally, which took place across the four local government in Oyo federal constituency started at AFIJIO local government stormed major places like Onidundu area, Iware, Fiditi, Jobele, and by extension to Akibio, Alaawe and Alaafin of Oyo’s Palaces.

It would be recalled Adewole’s campaign patform tagged ”Buhari Leekansi Initiative” is an initiative and political concept of the academic turned politician aimed at selling the achievements of the Buhari-led administration since 2015 and as a suitable platform for the second term bid and to complement the APC campaign structures in selected states like Osun, Oyo, Ondo and Ekiti in the South West.

The group is being coordinated in the town by Mr Akin Atanda Allah dey and other members like Abdulfatai Oba, Ibikunle Titus, Adejoke Adegoke.

The Oyo Campaign was aimed at canvassing and soliciting support from eligible voters and educate them on the need for continuity in the country and most importantly to encourage the people to vote en-masse for the candidates of the party at all levels.

The campaign was witnessed by prominent leaders of the party which included Governor Abiola Ajimobi, the governorship candidate of the party in Oyo State, Oloye Adebayo Adelabu, the senatorial candidate of the party for Oyo Central Senatorial District, Senator Teslim Folarin.

Others included Hon. Akeem Adeyemi Skimeh, Barr Seyi Adisa, Hon. Isiaka Arole, Hon. Asimiyu Alarape and other APC faithful across the state.
