The APC Candidate for Iseyin/Itesiwaju/Kajola/Iwajowa Federal Constituency of Oyo State, Engr Soliu Abu Gbadamosi could not hide his joy as the Department of Chemical Engineering, Obafemi Awolowo University(O.A.U), Ile-Ife, Osun State officially awarded him, Doctor of Philosophy research (PhD) in Chemical Engineering.
The epoch making occasion which took place on Monday, November 21, 2022 at the Department of Chemical Engineering of the prestigious university had in attendance of the notable academia, family members, friends, political associates and other well wishers.
Ilero-born politician who presented his research thesis on ” Development of Emission Factors For Air Pollutants From Combustion Of Nigeria Cashew Apple Juice Derived BioEthanol Anti-Knock” with matric no TP17/18/H/1594, under the supervision of Professor J.A. Sonibare could not hide the joy and limitless happiness as encomiums were showered on him.
It would be recalled that Abu Gbadamosi had his MSC and Degree at same Ladoke Akintola Univeristy of Technology (LAUTECH), Ogbomoso, Oyo State in 2015 and 2005 in Chemical Engineering where he specializes in renewable energy in order to become a renewable energy expert.
He made his decision on this area of specialisation in order to make the best alternative way to substitute the common fossil fuel that Nigerians rely upon.
While speaking with news men, The APC Candidate for the House of Representatives who had his primary education at L. A Authority School, Ilero in 1991 and Senior School Certificate Examination(SSCE) in 1997, showed gratitude to God Almighty Who made his intent on attainment of PhD in Chemical Engineering feasible.
Abu Gbadamosi stressed it was God Almighty alone all adorations are due, family members and countless numbers of friends who share same view on pursuance of further education and attainment of new feather to one’s cap.
He thanked the supervisor, Professor J.A. Sonibare for thorough and objective supervision given to the research thesis throughout of the engagement.
Abu Gbadamosi equally showed appreciation to the lecturers in Department of Chemical Engineering, O.A.U, Ile-Ife for the training and pieces of notable advice that culminated in official award of PhD.
He however noted that he would be grateful to God Almighty over obtainment of new academic qualification without minding challenges he passed through during the academic exercise.
