Arapaja Depletes Makinde’s Camp As Supporters Join APC In Lagelu

The growing political movement around Ambassador Taofeek Oladejo Arapaja has recorded another major development as members of Team Arapaja in Lagelu Local Government Area, under the coordination of Hon. Akinlabu Moruff Abiodun Murphy, today officially moved into the All Progressives Congress (APC) alongside other members of the team.

The latest development adds to the growing series of movements involving Team Arapaja members across Oyo State and further puts the party’s grassroots mobilisation machinery in focus ahead of the 2027 general elections.

The Lagelu team, while declaring its movement, reaffirmed its commitment to the APC and pledged to work tirelessly at the grassroots to mobilise support for Hon. Akinmoyede Wasiu Olafisoye , an indigene of Lagelu, as well as other APC candidates contesting the forthcoming elections.

The message from Lagelu is therefore unambiguous: the political structure is moving, the grassroots is mobilising, and the APC is receiving fresh strength.

The development also highlights what has consistently distinguished Arapaja’s political movement — its deep connection with the grassroots.
