As a way of positioning the party for victory in the 2027 elections, the national leadership of the All Progressives Congress, APC, Tuesday evening met the Oyo state chapter, multiple sources told OYOINSIGHT.COM.
The source hinted that the meeting centered on the consensus approach already adopted by leaders of the party in consonance with the same approach in Lagos and Ogun States.
It was also learnt that party executives may have been informed about the consensus candidates for all the elective positions for next year’s election in the state.
The meeting which took place in Abuja was attended by Moses Alake Adeyemo (chairman), Fatai Adesina Adeniyi (secretary), Lamidi Taofeek (Vice chairman), Olawale Sadare (publicity secretary), Aderemi Adepoju ( organizing secretary), Sunday Aborisade (legal adviser), Adekemi Opatunde (woman leader), Olalekan Oladejo, youth leader), Joshua Oyebamiji, senatorial chairman (Oyo Central), Tunde Oloyede, senatorial chairman (Oyo North), Sunday Babalola (welfare secretary), Joseph Omoniyi (chairman of local government chairmen) and Mojeed Adebayo (senatorial chairman (Oyo South).
