A chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Oyo State, Alhaji Kehinde Olaosebikan, has hailed the appointment of Prince Ayodeji Abass-Alesinloye as a member of the Federal Character Commission, FCC.
Olaosebikan, former chairman of Oluyole Local Government and South West Regional Coordinator of Media and Publicity for the APC Presidential Campaign Council in 2023, felicitated Aleshinloye whom he described as a friend and brother in a statement he personally signed and made available to journalists in Ibadan on Monday.
Abass-Alesinloye, a former chairman of the same Oluyole LGA and former chairman of the Association of Local Governments of Nigeria (ALGON), Oyo State was named commissioner representing Oyo State in the Federal Character Commission (FCC) by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu on Monday.
Expressing gladness over the appointment, Olaosebikan, in the statement, noted that the former ALGON boss had acquitted himself well in governance and within the fold of the progressives over the years stressing that this had made him eminently worthy of the position.
Olaosebikan, CEO of Midas Communications Limted, a global PR firm wished Ayo Aleshinloye success in the new appointment.
