Two-term Member of the House of Representatives and immediate past Special Adviser on Strategy and Political Matters to the Oyo State governor, Hon. Babatunde Oduyoye, has lauded the chairman of the Federal Inland Revenue Service, Zacchaeus Adelabu Adedeji, as an excellent individual and an exemplary public servant.
Oduyoye made this known in a statement he made available to newsmen in Ibadan, in celebration of Zacch’s 46th birthday anniversary.
The former lawmaker noted that Zacch’s trajectory in public service has shown him as an individual committed to the service of humanity and the wellbeing of everyone around him.
He added that he had no doubt that Zacch would deliver in his latest role as the tax man of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, noting how he has excelled as a young man and has distinguished himself in previous appointments.
Oduyoye said: “I felicitate my brother, Zacchaeus Adelabu Adedeji on his 46th birthday anniversary on January 8.
“Zacch, as we all love to call him, has distinguished himself as an exemplary young man, who espouses excellence and has always displayed the same in all assignments committed into his hands since his days as Commissioner for Finance in Oyo State until now.
“I am assured that with his excellent antecedents, Zacch would be able to turn around the fortune of the country as its number one tax man.
“I congratulate him today as he celebrates 46th birthday and wish him more years of good health and wisdom.”
