Barring any last minutes’ change of plan, minister of power, Adébáyọ̀ Adelabu, would meet the leadership of the All Progressives Congress, APC, to finalize his defection, sources close to the party and the minister hinted OYOINSIGHT.COM Wednesday morning.
This was just as Adelabu, as advised by the party, has notified his ward 9, Ibadan South East local government APC executives, of his intention to return to the party.
Fixed for today’s afternoon at the APC permanent state secretariat at Obafemi Awolowo way, Oke-Ado, the minister’s team may be led by his men like Abass Alesinloye, Gbenga Olayemi, Wale Murphy, Wale Sanusi and others.
This is coming less than 72 hours to the formal decampment of Adelabu, who was the governorship candidate of Accord in the 2023 election, into the APC which he left last year.
