Sharafadeen Alli, former secretary to the state government, has trounced the candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, in Governor Seyi Makinde’s Oyo South senatorial district.
He defeated Joseph Tegbe and Kolapo Kola-Daisi, both formerly of the All Progressives Congress, APC, like him.
APC scored 111,513 while PDP polled 92,481. Accord garnered 33,641
