PHOTOS: Peller Empowers Constituents With Cars, Motorcycles, Others

    Shina Peller, lawmaker representing Iseyin/Itesiwaju /Kajola/Iwajowa at the green chamber over the weekend empowered his constituents.


    At Technical College, Oluwole area of Iseyin, where the event took place, Peller, who is the senatorial candidate of Accord in Oyo North urged the youths to identify criteria to select the best candidate in the forthcoming general elections.

    According to Peller, who is the Ayedero of Yorubaland, what the country need at a time like this is a system not a messiah, stating that a system is combination of people working together, urging the youths to vote for problem solvers, person who has shown capacity and capability.


    The Aare Gbobaniyi of Iseyinland explained that the youths cover 70 per cent of Nigeria population, and about 40 millions Nigerian students, stating that these numbers must be developed critically to select the best among candidates.

    He further stated that he is opened to any problem-solving coalition, merge strategy, saying Nigeria must be better.

    The Iseyin-born politician called on the youth to change the system, chase the mandate, believe in themselves, noting that election is won by the majority.

    While speaking on the empowerment, Peller who is the Akinrogun of Epeland, said what he has done is thanking his people for standing by him through thick and thin.


    Giving his scorecards on education, he noted that more than 30 of his constituents are presently undergoing scholarship, construction of a block of classroom at Otu. He said in Iseyin, he has donated ambulances and other vital medical equipment to health centres across his constituency. On security, he said he donated computers to security agencies in Iwajowa for data collection and identification purposes to address security challenges. He also said thatt two among players who participated in Peller Unity Cup are currently with the Nigeria under-20 the Flying Eagles among others.

    Some items distributed included sprayer, cooking gas cylinders, refrigerators, standing fans, grinding machine, motorcycles, tricycles, industrial sewing machines, campaign cars for all the 13 local government in the Oyo north senatorial district.


    Also speaking, Sultan Abubakar from Yobe state described Peller as an agent of change in the Nigeria political setting.

    Abubakar noted that change is a collective effort, urging the people of the senatorial district to support Peller in his quest to become their senator come 2023.

    Speaking further, he eulogized Peller for having his people at heart, while imploring politicians to cultivate that habit. He also urged the electorates to vote wisely, saying “Your vote is your weapon, use your vote wisely.”
