Seasoned journalist, Wasiu Olawale Sadare, yesterday resumed office as the spokesperson of the All Progressives Congress, APC, in Oyo State.

His resumption came as a reprieve for many party members and supporters who has waited and prevailed on the charismatic politician, who is one of the few professionals who cares about integrity.

Sadare, who has friends across parties, turned himself yesterday, after many months away from office.

The graduate of both The Polytechnic, Ibadan and University of Ibadan, who aspired to represent Egbeda state constituency, had been nominated by all the camps as their preferred person for the position in the last congress of the party. But not one to add to existing problem as the party was troubled at the point, he didn’t present himself for inauguration.

As spokesperson of the party before now, Sadare has displayed rare professionalism and courage as he discharged his duties. That earned him friends within and outside the party.

His presence at the Oke-Ado, permanent secretariat of the party in the state, has continued to generate commendations.

Teslim Folarin, governorship candidate of the party; all the three senatorial candidates of the party— AbdulFatai Buhari, Yunus Akintunde and Sharafadeen Alli as well as Idris Adeoye, an engineer and top chieftain of the party have all commended Sadare’s resolve to return to his former position, adding that they are pretty sure that he would get back to work almost immediately.

Also, Raufu Olaniyan, Seyi Makinde’s deputy, who was recently removed for joining the APC, said the coming back of Sadare would greatly boost the image of the party in the state and beyond.
