The Legislative Arm of Ido Local Government Council on Tuesday 9th of August, 2022 suspended the executive chairman of the council, Hon. Sheriff Aderemi ADEOJO in the plenary held at the council legislative house on Tuesday.
While moving the motion for his suspension, the Deputy Leader of the house Hon. Omotosho Rafiu from ward 3, accused Ido council boss of lack of accountability and poor infrastructure across the 10 wards that made up the Local Government Council.
The Chief Whip of the House, Hon. Adebowale Adedeji from ward 7 seconded the motion to suspend Hon. ADEOJO indefinitely.
When the Leader of the Legislative Council Hon. Abidoye Trimisiyu who presided over the proceeding called for voting all the the nine honourable councilors jointly supported the motion.
The leader therefore ruled for the indefinite suspension of Hon. Sheriff Aderemi ADEOJO.
Earlier, the house observed a minute silent over the demise of one of their colleagues who passed on recently.
